Ahh, springtime in Toronto. Hope everyone had a great winter!

Thanks once again to everyone who came out to the Hugh’s Room Show. Different venue for us but I think it worked out perfectly! If you missed out on the show, you also missed out on our free acoustic EP… but don’t worry! We will have download cards at our next show(s) while they last.

Speaking of our next show, we’re happy to be playing with Toronto’s Art & Woodhouse at the Cameron House on May 22. Doors at 8, check the Facebook event page for more details and possibly set times. We will probably be on around 9.

And finally – we will be entering the studio sometime soon to record some new tracks. More updates on that to come, but we’re really excited to start sharing some of these.

Just wanted to write a quick post to say we’re very proud to announce a show at the esteemed Toronto concert venue Hugh’s Room!The show is on March 28th (Thursday before the Good Friday holiday) and all the details can be found here: http://hughsroom.com/2013/01/the-hollowbodies/ Tickets are cheaper in advance, and you can make a table reservation. There’s also the option for dinner beforehand for those who are in to that. Cool?

We will be debuting some new material and playing some old tunes as well (and by ‘old’ we mean from our album that came out last May).

Happy Monday!

Thanks to all who checked out our shows the last few weeks. We capped off a great summer/fall of shows Saturday night at Rancho Relaxo in Toronto to an awesome crowd. The audience at our shows has snowballed big time and we can’t thank you all enough for spreading the word.

We’re in the process of writing/demoing new songs and hope to record these in early 2013! If you were at Rancho Relaxo on Saturday you may have heard “On Fire” which is a new one we’re excited about.

In the meantime, we’ll be posting a lot of acoustic videos (and maybe another proper video soon!) for you guys to check out. The Town Without A Name video is only a few weeks old but already over 1000 views. Thanks for watching!

Happy fall! If you think we’ve been quiet over the past month (no shows, no barrage of Facebook invites, etc.) it’s because we have been. We’ve taken the last few months to write, demo, revise, repeat. Trying to put together a nice collection of tunes to take to the studio early next year! Coming up with a lot of sounds that we’re proud of… but not a lot of finished tunes just yet. Hopefully we’ll have something to share soon.

We should also have a music video soon! Hopefully…

We’ll be playing a few shows in November (see below) and stay tuned for more!

So… how’s your summer going?

We’ve been having a killer summer (thanks for asking) between releasing the album, packing the Drake Hotel for our release show, and booking the Boots & Hearts Festival in August. Thanks so much to everyone who has been a part of these (and all the other) events and shows!

We have some great stuff lined up for the end of the summer and the fall too including some shows with cool bands, new songs to share, and videos (!!) so make sure you’re following us on Facebook and Twitter to get all the updates and free downloads.

We are proud to announce that we will be performing at the Boots & Hearts Music Festival in Bowmanville, Ontario on August 11. We’ll be sharing a bill with great names like Sheryl Crow, Kid Rock, Alabama, and many others. The festival also features Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie, and more! We’re obviously over-the-moon to be playing this show.
